Custom Design

Custom jewelry design and production is the main focus of Brody Designs. Our team excels at working with our customers to help them realize the jewelry piece that is perfect for them. We can start the design from a piece we have in our portfolio, a picture or group of pictures, or just from an idea or sketch. We can also start from just a sense of what style our customer prefers.

We do hand drawings and computer-aided designs to design our work. We then utilize hand-carved models, CNC machined parts and 3d printed parts to help put the vision into a form. We can adapt and change the design along the way until it's just right. This also gives a strong visual of the finished piece to come. We've produced all sorts of jewelry in all sizes and budgets. We will work with your stones and materials. We meet in-house or via phone and email. A detailed written appraisal is provided with each custom-designed piece at no additional charge.

Repair Services

We perform our jewelry repairs in house, usually with very fast turnaround. Sometimes same-day. Some of the common repairs we do are; ring sizing, prong repair/replacement, ring polishing and cleaning, chain repair, Stone replacement/setting, ring shank welding and replacement, soldering bridal sets, pearl stringing, watch battery replacement, watch band adjustment, and eyeglass frame welding (metal only).

Appraisals & Gemological Services

We do appraisals for insurance coverage. We include a picture and replacement cost with a detailed written description of the piece. These services take some time to complete, but most are done within 1-5 days. We charge by the piece or at an hourly rate for larger collections. Any previous appraisals with detailed stone weights are helpful to our appraiser and make your new appraisal more accurate as we do not pull out any of your gems to weigh them. Our staff is GIA trained in diamond and colored stone identification and grading. As with all our services, your piece is secure and insured while it is in our possession.
